House in the Cliff

A private residence carved into the limestone face of the Amalfi Coast. The client sought a home that disappeared into the rock — present but invisible, inhabited but untouched.

We worked with the natural fracture lines of the cliff, inserting concrete volumes that echo the stratigraphy below. The house breathes through narrow light shafts and dissolves at its edges into raw stone.
