The Pavilion

A cultural pavilion at the edge of the IJ river. The brief asked for a structure that could host contemporary art, performance, and silence in equal measure.

A single cast-concrete shell, folded like a sheet of paper. Interior volumes are carved by light, not walls. The building refuses program — it simply holds space.
